The unrest in Berkeley is out of control. A civil war has broken out between Trump and anti-Trump supporters and any kind of well mannered discussion has been thrown out the window.
These people are supposed to be students. The so-called educated minds of tomorrow. They seem to act more like moronic barbarians.
What’s the cause of all the pandemonium? The group Antifaschistische Aktion or more commonly known as ANTIFA . For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, ANTIFA is a thuggish far-left international organization that is destroying cities from within in hopes of bringing total anarchy and chaos wherever they set foot.
ANTIFA’s tactics involve intimidation, physical violence, verbal abuse and their ultimate goal is to shut down anyone and everyone who is against them.
Another leftist group that has contributed to the protests is By Any Means Necessary or BAMN. In an attempt to get explanations concerning all the violence, Tucker Carlson interviewed BAMN leader and middle school teacher, Yvette Felarca.
In the interview, she explains her justifications for inciting violence against those she disagrees with and accuses Milo Yiannopoulos of encouraging genocide. She can also be seen physically attacking a peaceful protester here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g5kX88Wviw.
The Mayor of Berkeley, Jesse Arreguin, is allowing the unrest and protests to continue, because he is friends with BAMN leader Yvette Felarca. He himself is a supporter of BAMN’s Facebook group page, which explains his lack of intervention against the riots that have been happening under his watch (http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2017/04/21/berkeley-mayor-is-member-of-antifa-facebook-group-that-organized-riots/).
Ann Coulter recently had to cancel her speech at Berkeley College, due to threats of violence from ANTIFA against her and her attendees.
The University of California, Berkeley allegedly failed to ensure efficient security for all students who wanted to attend Ann Coulter’s scheduled speech, which led to Ann’s decision to cancel the event (http://www.reuters.com/article/us-california-coulter-idUSKBN17S2D8).
Should people be forced to cancel their speeches due to threats of violence? No. Because that would be giving in to the people against free speech and liberty. And that is their ultimate goal: to intimidate others into silence.
However, in Coulter’s case, I believe it might have been for the best for her to cancel. No woman should ever unjustly be subject to the threats of such violence that she has received for merely wanting to share her beliefs with a group of students at a college campus.
There’s no point in being a martyr for any cause and suffering the consequences from the ignorance and lack of humanity that thuggish protesters display. But somebody has to do something and take a stand…meet the right’s Dangerous Faggot, Milo Yiannopoulos.
Milo initially caused the first uproar of protests at Berkeley College after giving speeches at the school back in February this year.
His previously scheduled event at the college was cancelled in a similar fashion to what Coulter is currently going through. He was specifically planning on discussing the concept of cultural appropriation with the students.
Protesters were outraged and accused Milo of being racist and that he shouldn’t have the right to give speeches at college campuses. This prompted the rioting and violence to commence in the first place (http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/01/us/milo-yiannopoulos-berkeley/).
To push back against ANTIFA, BAMN and the protests going on, Milo has announced his plans of doing speeches for an entire week at Berkeley despite all the threats of violence that have arisen every time a conservative minded individual wished to speak at the school (http://www.breitbart.com/milo/2017/04/21/the-btch-is-back-at-berkeley-milo-announces-free–week-at-berkeley-university/).
The Berkeley situation has become so ridiculous and out of hand that it’s now being brought to the public’s attention that professors are actually getting involved in the riots themselves.
Ethics professor, Eric Clanton now also known as The Bike Lock Assailant has been identified by numerous strangers coming together on the internet after he was caught on camera striking a peaceful protester over the head with a bike lock (http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/04/new-video-antifa-member-professor-eric-clanton-beating-trump-supporters-bike-lock-media/).
Clanton supports anarchist rhetoric and the use of force against enemies as evidenced by his attacks on defenseless victims, his teachings of them in college classrooms and his involvement in several protests that turned into riots targeting Trump supporters.
Why is Marxist ideology on the rise in American colleges? In this episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, clinical psychologist and professor Jordan B. Peterson explains to Joe Rogan the tactics of modern day Marxists and how they keep pushing boundaries further and further until everyone around them agrees to their demands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQjnT02mp5o.
What happened to intellectual integrity? What happened to wanting to learn, peacefully exchanging ideas and challenging our beliefs? Stop allowing yourselves to get brainwashed by the extremists out there. Put down your signs and your weapons and go home.
You want to help all the marginalized groups you claim to defend? Stop acting like totalitarian thugs. It’s hard to garner sympathy and support for a group that gets their way through force.
When it comes down to it, words don’t hurt people. Violent actions do. If you disagree with someone’s beliefs, fine. Don’t listen to them and don’t attend their speeches. It’s okay to be in disagreement. We don’t have to agree on everything, but allow people the freedom to express themselves, especially if others want to listen.
